Love of My Life
|
I will tell of my love for my spirit mate.
One who cares deeply for Mother Earth,
and all things the Great One creates.
He loves the land, the waters, the air,
the forest and animals, the birds, the fish,
great and small who dwell with us there.
|
His love for the land does not go unheeded,
for he is a caretaker, one who helps keep it.
He experiences great joy, just being needed,
both by the earth and all who dwell within it.
How grateful I am to share this love,
his love is boundless, as is his caring spirit.

I will give to him, the best of my being
as he has to me, my trust and my love.
Father Earth, Great Spirit, God of all knowing,
May he know how I cherish him, "my love".
Many years we have spent together
learning each other, our love is forever.
|
I speak of my husband, the love of my life.
He is and will always be my spirit mate.
Great One, be with us through times of strife,
help us as we struggle, searching our fate.
Growing older, may we find our love refreshed.
As though we were young, opening life's gate.
